I want to make comics, and though I’ve got drawing down (sort of), I need to learn how to write.

Aside from the fact that it’s one of those cheesy 4 panel comics that used to be popular in  2012, The message is what counts

Do you not understand the difference between men objectifying women for the male gaze in fiction and….ACTUAL real life women having the right to dress themselves however they want without being attacked?

Do you understand the difference between FICTIONAL women and REAL women?

They obviously do not understand. And considering they took their time to put such horrible opinion into a comic form, the OP is not likely to be persuaded otherwise.

And that’s just fucking sad.

~Ozzie

I’m working on my theory that people like the OP live in parallel world where sexy attire in video games is a genuine choice, not a standard forced upon the player.

I also found the original video in which these statements are made - once you get past ear grating audio, it’s a fairly half-arsed attempt at political satire by somehow who apparently has styled every aspect of their appearance and performance to imitate Boxxy (cw: boxxy).

The kindest possible conclusion one can come to:

Feminism:

"How dare women decide for themselves what they like?  Don’t they know they are only allowed to like things feminists like for them to like?  Women are not allowed to have opinions that feminists don’t approve of!  You are a troll!  How dare you have your own opinion?  How dare you!"

Doesn’t this technically come under slut shaming, since they are getting outraged at the very idea of a woman liking skimpy armour in her videogame?

poppypicklesticks:

It’s weird how feminists bitch about sexualising cartoon children when they draw shota porn like it’s going out of fashion

Not to mention all the fangirls who age up the South Park boys into “hawt bishies” and write teh yaoiz about them

Usually Autism headcanons are applied to any character who is bullied and show off quirky (aka annoying as fuck) personalities. Its like...have you EVER been around autistic people before? Have you been around ANYONE regardless of ANYTHING before? Just because a person is bullied and is OH SO SPECIAL AND UNIQUE (aka not special, not unique) doesn't mean that autism can just be slapped onto them. It just bothers me when people do that because its become a LABEL now. Just a LABEL.

Its certainly not a fuking fashion statement like tumblr seems to think it is

I keep seeing all these apology cakes about reblogging certian kinds of posts and i just wanted to say im not fucking sorry

  • Tumblr Feminists: Men need to try to be part of the solution.
  • Men: Create a date rape drug detecting nail polish, probably motivated by experiences of their close female friends and a family, or just a plain old desire to protect them and other women and who obvious show a willingness to be part of a solution by giving women another option to protect themselves.
  • Tumblr Feminists: This is part of the problem. It's going to encourage victim blaming. Did they even TALK to women? Where are their profits going to go?

Special Snowflakes and SJWs are ruining this site for me and making me want to quit badly.

i’ve seen more posts of people being excited for Home than this movie, which made me upset because this movie comes out before Home does (not that i am saying that you shouldn’t praise Home as well). and as for Big Hero 6 (a movie that also comes out after the Book of Life) and the people saying that there is a lack of representation of Asians in media, i feel you. why? because there is a bigger lack of hispanics, and i agree Disney messed up, you be upset. but be happy for Hispanics as well because we finally got an animated movie representing us and our culture. so please go see this movie when it comes out.

that is all i ask.

im soexcited about this movie but i keep seeing this post and want to add that everyone should also keep in mind that dia de los muertos is specifically MEXICAN. la muerte (santa muerte) and a lot of what is being depicted is seen primarily in MEXICAN culture and should not be lumped together in its entirety as a “hispanic” thing.

I need to explain a little bit more about the cast, because seriously this is so cool:

The cast of characters in the movie is almost entirely Mexican, save for a few minor characters who (from what I can tell) aren’t relevant to the plot. The voice cast is ALL POC with like 3 exceptions, and most of the cast members are Mexican, meaning that this is a story being told by characters and by people who have a direct cultural connection to it. That’s huge.

ALL OF THIS AND MORE! GO SEE IT!

Hispanics need so much more representation then we get <3

Yayy culturesss <333

It’s fun, colorful, and has a great Dia de Los Muertos theme! Get excited!!

The writer/creator/animator whose brainchild this is, Jorge Gutierrez (El Tigre), is also Mexican, and he came to speak at my school literally the day before he was scheduled to have his first meeting with the producers on this film.  And even though he had a flight to catch, he hung around after his presentation and gave us a lesson on character design and color theory, just for the fun of it.  He’s super cool.  His story of how he struggled to get where he is, and how hard he had to work to get this film made without executives trying to turn it into total garbage, is absolutely inspiring, and I hope it comes out in like an art book or something later because… man, thinking about how much this guy has fought for his art kept me going on more than a few occasions.  See this shit guys!!!
